Then it gets fixed/nerfed and your paid stuff is not op anymore, it's just different from what is available to everyone else, so you need a "fix" which is new DLC. It can be enabled while you are not riding it.

It makes more sense than it being able to fire forever and adds a cost to using them instead of turrets. It felt like all my shots weren't hitting or that my tames melee damage was super low. I wonder how this will work for AI turret mode. I think the real nerf we should be discussing is the hitbox under large dinosaurs Nerf.
© Valve Corporation. Considering that you SEE upwards of dozens of darts stuck in targets and only taking a few ticks of damage, yes, it will likely be fixed. It feels so bad if you have two stegos on you and you cant really attack properly because you keep getting interrupted.

Velonasaurs cant hit titanoboas on turret mode now... Also we had 8 velonas on a corrupted giga and they all died because none of their hits were counting... bs patch. Maybe you could separate PvP and PvE damage or damage to players and their dinos? The patch notes addressed Velonasaurs attacks hitting UPWARD when standing underneath creatures like brontos and gigas, their attacks, especially the alt attack as having some substantial hit reg issues, on right click I put about 10+ darts into a dilo, not one counted as damage. I'm convinced that this supposed to emulate withdraw effect - you buy DLC and feel good using all the broken dinos and mechanics.

Without being able to hit the underside of them now, the only targetable part is their legs while using the tail spin.

Wildcard is literally the worst development company in history. Watch Queue Queue. I once had a shoulder pet almost instantly starve to death from full food because it had a ton of unspent points from sitting in my base while I was using a different one and I dumped them all into stamina(charge) at once. Is it x3 now by default and we get huge amounts with the restored dmg?
The Velonasaur is a living turret in ARK: Extinction with a unique turrent-like spike-shooting attack. Velonasaur stamina nerf I think this Ai stamina nerf is a bad decision.

It works, it worked for me, and I'll go step by step what I did that worked and outline everything for the rest of you.

Melee and stamina don't matter if the velonasaur isn't ridden, so the only useful stat to put points in would be hp then. I used to love Managarmr, now Velo got nerf'd too. Since the launch of extinction I've spent time on my server breeding as high level velonasaurs as possible, but even with 500% damage they are pretty ineffective.
